Pranamya Shirasa Devam Gauri Putram Vinayakam Bhaktavasam Smaren Nityam Ayuh Kama Artha Siddhaye
Bowing my head to the god Vinayaka, the son of Gauri, in whom his devotees find their dwelling, let one remember him daily for the fulfillment of long life, desire, and prosperity.
गौरीपुत्र विनायक देव को सिर झुकाकर प्रणाम करके, जो भक्तों के आश्रय हैं, आयु, काम और अर्थ की सिद्धि के लिए उनका नित्य स्मरण करे।

Prathamam Vakratundam Cha Ekadantam Dvitiyakam Tritiyam Krishna Pingaksham Gaja Vaktram Chaturthakam
First, Vakratunda, the one of the curved trunk; second, Ekadanta, the single-tusked; third, Krishnapingaksha, whose eyes are dark and tawny; fourth, Gajavaktra, the elephant-faced.
पहला नाम वक्रतुण्ड, दूसरा एकदन्त; तीसरा कृष्णपिंगाक्ष, और चौथा गजवक्त्र।
लम्बोदरं पञ्चमं च षष्ठं विकटमेव च। सप्तमं विघ्नराजेन्द्रं धूम्रवर्णं तथाष्टमम्॥
Lambodaram Panchamam Cha Shashtham Vikatam Eva Cha Saptamam Vighna Rajendram Dhumra Varnam Tatha Ashtamam
Fifth, Lambodara, of the generous belly; sixth, Vikata, the formidable; seventh, Vighnarajendra, the sovereign king over obstacles; and eighth, Dhumravarna, the smoke-hued.
पांचवां लम्बोदर, छठा विकट; सातवां विघ्नराजेन्द्र, और आठवां धूम्रवर्ण।

Ninth, Bhalachandra, who bears the moon upon his brow; tenth, Vinayaka; eleventh, Ganapati, lord of the ganas; and twelfth, Gajanana, the elephant-faced lord.
नौवां भालचन्द्र, दसवां विनायक; ग्यारहवां गणपति, और बारहवां गजानन।
द्वादशैतानि नामानि त्रिसन्ध्यं यः पठेन्नरः। न च विघ्नभयं तस्य सर्वसिद्धिकरं प्रभो॥
Dvadasha Etani Namani Trisandhyam Yah Pathen Narah Na Cha Vighna Bhayam Tasya Sarva Siddhi Karam Prabho
The person who recites these twelve names at the three junctures of the day, dawn, noon, and dusk, knows no fear of obstacles: for this recitation, O Lord, grants every accomplishment.
जो मनुष्य इन बारह नामों का पाठ तीनों सन्ध्याओं में करता है, प्रातः, मध्याह्न और सायं, उसे विघ्नों का कोई भय नहीं रहता: हे प्रभु, यह पाठ सब सिद्धियां देने वाला है।
विद्यार्थी लभते विद्यां धनार्थी लभते धनम्। पुत्रार्थी लभते पुत्रान्मोक्षार्थी लभते गतिम्॥
Vidyarthi Labhate Vidyam Dhanarthi Labhate Dhanam Putrarthi Labhate Putran Moksharthi Labhate Gatim
The seeker of knowledge obtains knowledge; the seeker of wealth obtains wealth; the one who longs for children obtains children; and the seeker of liberation obtains the way.
विद्यार्थी विद्या पाता है, धनार्थी धन पाता है; पुत्र चाहने वाला पुत्र पाता है, और मोक्षार्थी मुक्ति का मार्ग।
जपेद्गणपतिस्तोत्रं षड्भिर्मासैः फलं लभेत्। संवत्सरेण सिद्धिं च लभते नात्र संशयः॥
Japed Ganapati Stotram Shadbhir Masaih Phalam Labhet Samvatsarena Siddhim Cha Labhate Natra Samshayah
One who recites this Ganapati stotram obtains its fruit within six months, and within a year attains full accomplishment: of this there is no doubt.

From the Narada Purana, this short stotram is spoken by the sage Narada himself, and it is built around the twelve names of Ganesha: Vakratunda the curved-trunked, Ekadanta the single-tusked, Krishnapingaksha of the dark tawny eyes, Gajavaktra the elephant-faced, Lambodara the pot-bellied, Vikata the formidable, Vighnarajendra the king over obstacles, Dhumravarna the smoke-hued, Bhalachandra who wears the moon on his brow, Vinayaka, Ganapati, and Gajanana. The stotram promises that reciting these twelve names at dawn, noon, and dusk dissolves the fear of obstacles, and then addresses each seeker where they stand: the student gains knowledge, the seeker of wealth gains wealth, those longing for children gain children, and the seeker of liberation gains the way. Its name means the destroyer of crises, and along with the Hanuman Ashtak it is one of the two great sankata-nashana prayers of daily devotion.
